It is equipped with a powerful, low-impact STIHL 3/8"-PS3 Pro saw chain. This chain with full chisel teeth guarantees excellent kickback behaviour and high cutting quality. The STIHL MSA 220 C-B also lets you work without any problem in noise-sensitive environments, whether for gardening, landscaping or craft activities. So when building timber structures, you work in silence and benefit from the emission and maintenance-free operation of the EC motor. Especially handy when you use your machine in an enclosed space.

Thanks to the powerful EC motor, combined with the powerful STIHL AP 300 S battery, the STIHL MSA 220 has maximum cutting power. The ergonomic design of the bow handle and rear control lever further increases comfort and safety.

All machines in the STIHL AP system are made for professional users and for daily use, even in bad weather. They are therefore equipped with tried and tested splash water protection, proven by advanced internal tests. The splash water test is based on the IPX4 standard.
